This is my first foray into the world of blogging and I have just spent 20 minutes trying to decided what my blog should be about. I decided that I wanted to bring some humour and colour into my blog so as not to make it boring, hence the title 'manic movie fan'. Thought about calling it "Overly obsessed Daniel Craig fan" but someone might think I was seriously stalking him.

So instead of just concentrating on my favourite James Bond, I thought I would blog about the many movies I get to see these days, and not just how many times I have watched Casino Royale!

I have been to see 2 Clive Owen movies in the last few weeks, which might indicate the beginnings of a whole new obsession, as I also have several of his movies on DVD.

Thought 'The International' was well done - plenty of action, good story, Australian female co-star (Naomi Watts) and Clive looking very intense.

Last weekend saw 'Duplicity', where Clive played a very different character. Loved this movie (even though I am not a Julia Roberts fan.) Can't say too much as it would really spoil it for anyone but it was interesting and entertaining. Had me thinking a lot about old Cary Grant movies.
